Founded in 1941, this artisanal company began by selling pork to train passengers. They now specialise in high-quality, traditionally cured meats, using resources from the surrounding Grazalema and Los Alcornocales Natural Parks.
The family-run business moved to a modern 480 square metre factory in 1982 and added 500 square metres of drying cellars in 1994. They are certified by Global Gestión y Calidad and endorsed by the Andalusian Natural Park brand.
Sarta simply means that it is stringed.
