Classic Spanish BBQ Meat Selection
Emcesa’s Preparado BBQ Grande brings together a complete assortment of Spanish sausages specially created for the barbecue, so you can offer an authentic parrillada with zero prep. The pack includes chorizo oreado, chorizo criollo, spicy chorizo pincho, chistorra, black rice morcilla and onion morcilla, as well as butifarra blanca, all made from selected pork and seasoned with paprika, garlic and traditional spices.
For the grill, take the tray out of the fridge 20–30 minutes beforehand to let the sausages reach room temperature. Brush/spray lightly with olive oil and cook over medium heat, turning regularly, until the outside is golden and the juices run clear. Start with the chistorra and chorizo pincho as an easy tapa, served in bite‑size pieces with fresh rustic bread and/or roasted peppers. Grill the butifarra and chorizo criollo a little longer and present them in buns, with fresh rustic bread or sliced over salads and rice dishes.
The morcilla sausages are excellent grilled whole until the skin is crisp, then split and spooned over toasted bread with piquillo peppers or caramelised onion. For a mixed BBQ platter, arrange all the grilled embutidos (seasoned meats) on a wooden board with alioli, chimichurri, grilled corn and padron peppers so guests can help themselves. This tray comfortably serves around six people and is ideal for relaxed family cookouts or informal gatherings with friends.
