Tips for using this oil for barbecues.
Because of they’re lower tolerance for high temperatures, not all olive oils are suitable for grilling, frying and barbecuing. However, this particular oil is produced especially for barbecues.
Spray a small quanity onto a paper towel and rub onto the grill before it’s hot and before placing any food on it. This will help stop the food sticking to it and make it easier to remove the food when doen and also easier to clean afterwards.
For barbecuing meat, spray a thin film of the oil on all sides before placing on the grill. You can also add an extra virgin olive oil in a marinate of soya sauce, garlic, lemon juice and mustard or whatever recipe you have.
You can also just spray this oil directly on the meats before placing on the grill if preparing marinates isn’t your thing.
For fish, vegetables and other greens, you may want to prepare a vinaigrette with aromatic herbs for example.
For lamb, you may want to have a go at preparing an alioli sauce, a solid staple in Spain that has garlic, and can do so with extra virgin olive oil.
