Origin: The pigs must be born, raised, and slaughtered in the province of Teruel, Spain.
Breed: The pigs must be a cross between Landrace or Large White females and Duroc males.
Diet: The pigs must be fed a diet that includes at least 50% cereals.
Curing process: The hams must be cured for a minimum of 14 months in the province of Teruel.
