Covap Esenciaúnica Acorn-Fed Iberian Chorizo
This Iberian Chorizo de Bellota, from the Farmer’s Cooperative in Córdoba, is produced using a traditional recipe from high quality lean Iberian pork seasoned with paprika. The piece has undergone a curing and drying process of at least 50 days.
This Iberian product comes from a unique environment:
Pastures, abundant in high nutritional grasses and ancient oaks that, generation after generation, provide the valuable acorns for the Iberian pigs to forage freely for.
This chorizo is a completely natural Iberian product without artificial ingredients, nitrites and nitrates, and provides a very healthy option thanks to the contribution of oleic acid from the acorns, the same as in olive oils in the same region, resulting in a meat with a high content of proteins, vitamins, minerals and natural antioxidants.
