Flor de Esgueva Queso Viejo Oveja

For cheese lovers who like an elastic and almost melting texture, but without losing the long and lasting aftertaste. Enjoy on its own but if you want to elevate it, add a few drops of picual olive oil, which makes it a little more intense and bitter. Also used in Risottos with pumpkin.
A young red wine with a fruity and herbaceous taste brings out the best in this aged cheese.

Made from raw sheep’s milk and matured in natural rind for at least 7 months, this mature cheese originates in the province of Valladolid and more specifically from Peñafiel, which is also at the heart of the famous Ribera del Duero wine region.

Important Note:
This product comes with mould on the outside. Rest assured this is normal for this cheese since it is an essential part of the aging process.

Ingredients

Raw sheep's milk, salt, preservative (E-252), rennet and lactic ferments. Inedible rind: contains preservatives E-2, E-22, E-23, E-235, and colorants E-153 and E-172.
